My parents Thomas Edwin Huston and Peggy Ann Richmond Huston were married in Riverview Chapel on November 22, 1955. The late Harry Pilkington , the Pastor of the Chapel performed the ceremony. Harry and his dear wife Joan served the Chapel for many years and lived in the house to the immediate left of the building.
I attended the chapel many times as a young child visiting my Grandparents Julian Que Richmond and Evelyn Richmond. They lived directly across the street, at 1508 Temple Street.
The Chapel is filled with very kind and loving Christians of whom I still see from time to time when I visit Hinton, WV.
